June 4-8: Zero One Festival. San Jose’s unique biennial festival of cutting-edge art is one of the newest and largest celebrations of digital arts in North America. Drawing influences from contemporary art, technology and culture, more than 100 provocative new works from world-renowned artists include installations, interactive performances and new cinema. Robot art, a hip-hop meditation on the state of Antarctica and conversations with artificial intelligence are just a sampling of the featured projects; discussions, parties and workshops are also on tap.
