Mar 7-9: The Stravinsky Project. Celebrating the 125th anniversary of Stravinsky’s birth, the Stravinsky Project at Stanford is a multi-day exploration of his works. On March 7, pianist Alexander Toradze and select pianists from the Toradze Studio join Joseph Horowitz for a chronological traversal of Stravinsky’s works for piano, ranging from The Rite of Spring to the more obscure Scherzo from Sonata in F-sharp Minor.
