The opera company kicks off its 25th anniversary season with this tragic yet riveting tale about a Russian country girl’s infatuation with a cynical dandy from Moscow. Sept 27: Vagabond Opera. This colorful and theatrical smorgasbord of Bohemian cabaret draws elements from several different cultures such as Parisian jazz, swing, tango, Ukrainian folk-punk ballads and more. Featuring an operatic tenor and soprano vocals mixed in with accordion, saxophone, cello, bass and drums, this reinvention of opera is sure to delight all music lovers. 6pm.
