See the world's largest display of Pez candy dispensers and other Pez memorabilia. Over 500 characters, from Mickey Mouse, Casper, and Popeye that debuted in 1952 to the more recent Simpsons and Sponge Bob, are featured. Walk down N. Fifth and Jackson streets and you will encounter a neighborhood exuding a sense of history and beauty. Every cherry blossom-lined street, restaurant, and store reflects Japanese heritage that is preserved by both the residents and its shopkeepers. Spend a Sunday morning at the Farmer's Market and purchase fresh vegetables, baked goods, and flowers. Take in some of Japantown's cultural and historic sites, like the Buddhist Church Betsuin and the Japanese American Museum of San Jose (535 N.
